HAPPY BIRTHDAY 
Technically late by New Zealand standards... but perfectly on time if not a tiny bit early in the United States
Anyway, these are her fantastic new characters Petey and Wicker! They are piratical 12 year old animalsin love. Actually only Petey is piratical and only in his head... but when you are a pirate, you tend to drag everyone else along for the adventure amirite? Also Wicker is supposed to be taller but I planned to do perspective with this that did not happen but it still sorta did so yeah =w=
Go wish this girl a happy birthday because she tries to hide it from everyone. Luckily she has friends to completely and utterly exploit such secrets! And now that the world knows, well, take advantage of it B) In all seriousness, happydesu is the most awesome person I know and totally my online bff

Finally gets round to expressing appreciation of these........... good thing the entire month is my birthday /shot
ugh ugh it is so unbelievable to see, really, these characters coming to life (because I have yet to even draw a proper artwork of them
) and decked out in kawaii costume and everything.. just in time for halloween =w= You just captured them absolutely perfectly, even their colours feel perfect, better than the ref I gave you <W< and it's just so bright and happy and p e r f e c t I KEEP USING THAT WORD BUT IT'S THE ONLY WORD THAT EXPRESSES THE PERFECTNESS ;A;
(Even the background is perfect, ahhaha what, no really I look at the curve of the horizon and think "there is no other way this background can be besides curving at the horizon" - I'll stop)
The mood in this is utterly - try to use a different word besides perfect |D - invocative of how I imagined their world would be; that childlike excitement and freedom, their poses and expressions, it completely conveys everything I want to do with them (assuming I ever did so haha e__e)! Man thank you so much for this, it is the cutest and most wonderful thing, and it still means so much that you take the time to draw these every freakin' year! ;w; Thank youuuu!
