At long last, the cover of chapter 8, just in the nick of time (no pun intended!). I had this idea for this cover probably since January, but I've had such a weird art block of sorts since school got out that I think is finally getting better, so I was finally able to muster up the "creativity" to actually do the cover! Theme for this cover and the upcoming chapter 9 cover is tarot cards, but I'm curious to see if any of you guys can guess what Fred's exact card is! I'm a big fan of symbolism, and even if my art hasn't always been up to par, I've always tried to include all kinds of hints in symbols wherever I can! This piece simply screams it, and we'll leave it at that haha! I want to also give special thanks to my friend Alondra ( alondraaraujo.weebly.com/ ) for her help in the research of this piece, I was completely new to tarot cards and she was a great guide!
And don't worry, this doesn't count as the "update", I'll still have page 1 of chapter 8 up for you! It'll be later this evening though, but it's-a-comin' nonetheless!

Aaah I bet those specific flowers were chosen for a symbolic reason (shame I don't know my flower species)
